About the Project: This transformative nine-storey healthcare project is the first hospital in Canada to achieve the CAGBC Zero Carbon Building Design Standard. The facility is designed for all-electric operation and features a 500 MWh/year rooftop photovoltaic system along with a high-performance building envelope. The structure spans over 600,000 square feet and was developed with an estimated 38% reduction in embodied carbon emissions through the use of low-carbon concrete and optimized materials.
