About the Project:

This LEED Gold-certified facility was the first ambulatory hospital in British Columbia totally devoted to day surgery. The 188,000-square-foot centre utilizes evidence-based design principles, featuring a lobby inspired by the adjacent Green Timbers Urban Forest with life-scale photography and abundant natural light. The building was a pioneer in the use of BIM digital modelling, allowing for a highly flexible design where each floor can be reconfigured to meet evolving clinical needs.
