Kaizen’s new Insight Log is all about turning Insights into action. An Insight represents an opportunity to save money, reduce consumption, and optimize building performance.

To better enable you to take advantage of these opportunities CopperTree Analytics is proud to present the new Insight Management suite of features.  With trackable actions and flexible views CopperTree has made managing teams and prioritizing Insights easier than ever.

Issue Tracking and Project Management

Save time, eliminate unnecessary processes, and consolidate communication channels with Insight Management’s new issue tracking and project management features.

Insights can now be assigned to users and discussed right in the details page of an Insight. This helps keep the context within the discussion, since all the data and information relative to the issue is already saved to the Insight details.

Issues assigned to you will appear on your Dashboard so you’re immediately aware of the work that you are responsible for. Track the progress of each Insight as it is being worked on by marking the status as “Open”, “Closed”, or “In Progress”.

New Custom Tags can be added as a means of categorizing Insights based on preliminary investigation.  When action is being taken, assignees can update statuses or leave comments to communicate progress and expose timelines.

Custom Views

Insight Management is here to revolutionize the way users manage and respond to faults detected in their buildings.  Users now have complete control of the information displayed in their Insight Log.

Users create custom views by manipulating the display and organization of the Insights in their log.   Advanced filtering, grouping, and sorting on individual columns gives users the power to create a view that highlights the issues that are most important to them.

Users may want to utilize the new functionality by finding the fault that occurs the most in a Building by grouping Insights by Rule Template.  If equipment performance is a higher priority, a user could find the equipment with the most faults by grouping Insights by System.

Views can also be created to track progress since users can sort, filter, and group on the Assignee, Tags, and Statuses of Insights. There’s no limit to how an organization might need to view their information and we want to further enable that process. All action history is saved with the Insight details and can even be exported along with the Insight log in PDF, CSV, or Excel format.

Insight History at a Glance

Insight History can now be viewed within the Insight log utilizing our new Calendar View. This distinctive visualization tool makes it easy to recognize patterns and help pinpoint the root cause of the issue. For example, users can clearly see if a fault is related to seasonal changes, or perhaps a particular day of the week.
